B1G Volleyball is the Pinnacle of the Sport

Saints Sports Network

When you think volleyball you probably think of warm weather states, usually the southwest as the place for the best competition. You aren't wrong, there are some great teams like Stanford, but arguably the best concentration of top tier collegiate volleyball programs is in the Midwest, in the Big Ten.

In five of the last 10 years a Big Ten team has hoisted the NCAA trophy and represented half of the final eight teams in the tournament each of the last three seasons. The depth is astounding and the sport is only on the rise.

Columbus NIL Club, the newest college NIL venture

Saints Sports Network

Ohio State football players have found a way to shake up the Name, Image, and Likeness marketplace, launching the Columbus NIL Club on Thursday. CNC is a subscription service where fans can pledge to give a minimum of $5 per month and get access to exclusive content directly from the players. The money goes straight to the 80+ players that are part of the venture and is the first of its kind. Usually players are signing with businesses to get money but this is going straight to the fanbase and cutting out the middle man.

And if you know anything about the Ohio State fanbase, this could work out really well for the players.

Mound Visit

Saints Sports Network is a Christian group that brings you interesting sports coverage. Our name comes from Ephesians 2:18-21 where it notes that all Christians are saints in God's eyes. Therefore we are saints who write about sports but also want to make sure to share the Gospel. That's where Mound Visit comes into play because we all need a visit to the mound from God in good times and bad to recenter our lives and trust in him. We'll do that by highlighting a Bible verse for you to think and pray about in each newsletter that you receive from us.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
